The "element" layout - provides an opportunity to evaluate and examine each piece or part of what you would like to include in your homestead or environment. Be sure to choose items that will thrive in your climate, with the amount of resources you can provide and will result in adequate return for effort. The "Site" layout - provides an opportunity to bring all those separate elements together to form a complete assessment of the homestead or your environment. The site layout will help you to evaluate how all the pieces, when assembled together, will work in harmony. Do you have enough resources to manage all those pieces?
